On October 11th, we will be representing Ronald McDonald House at the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As members of the team, we will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.

Tuesday, December 2 - Tuesday, December 16 - Advent Series: Ask a Sign of Your God- Holy Wisdom Monastery
Each gathering will include some teachings, reflections and small group conversations, and a time of contemplation on a text, a piece of art – writing, images, poetry or music.
Saturday, December 6 - Sunday, December 7 - Holiday Art Market at FCI- WayForward Resources
Approximately 1,400 people attend the Holiday Art Market at FCI, which helps kick off the holiday season, making this event a must-attend annual outing for many locals. Local artists and makers provide the backdrop for a fun and festive atmosphere. The popular Gift To-Go Boxes will be back in 2025, along with plentiful Door Prizes and the crowd favorite Plinko game. Each vendor donates at least 20% of their proceeds back to benefit WayForward’s food and housing programs.

Come join us for this multi-instructor WERQ dance fitness event to raise some funds and collect some toys for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Dane County! (Ages 16+, ALL FITNESS LEVELS WELCOME)
Friday, December 19 - Longest Night Taizé Prayer Service- Holy Wisdom Monastery
Join us for a contemplative Taizé Prayer near the winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, to reflect on our loss, grief, sadness and loneliness. Stay for cookies and beverages after. This event will replace our regular midday prayer at 11:45 am. The event will take place in the monastery assembly room.
