Friday, September 10, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Middleton Art & Framing, 6921 University Ave, is having a Gallery Opening on Friday, September 10 from 5:00-8:00pm, with food and drink for all. Allison Jennings is a photographer who has some really great work in "selective coloring". Her philosophy: "As I look around I see the world as if I’m looking through my viewfinder. Everything around me is an inspiration. Three years ago I began project 365—where participants are challenged to take a photo everyday for the whole year. I am currently in my second full year of the project, which inspires me to continue to create images and motivates me daily to expand my photographic knowledge."

Sunday, September 12, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Middleton Police Department is holding a charity golf outing Sunday ,September 12 on the Par 3 course at Pleasant View Golf Course. The money raised will support all of the community awareness programs which include; “Shop with a Cop”, Gang Resistance Education and Training (GREAT), National Night Out, VIPS, Citizens’ Academy and more. There will also be plenty for the family to do if they are not golfing. There will be kid’s activities on the putting green, bucket raffle for themed baskets and a grand prize raffle. Middleton was awarded a FTPF grant for up to 40 trees and an irrigation system in the first round of voting! We need volunteers to help plant the trees that are being gifted to us.
