Economic Development
The Economic Development Committee acts as a liaison between businesses and the City of Middleton. The Committee gets monthly updates from the City of Middleton and is able to provide input to the City on critical issues. The Committee also receives monthly updates on local development and construction projects.
The Committee sponsors information-sharing events, such as the Mayor's State of the City Address, roundtable discussions about development issues, construction updates, political debates and downtown redevelopment plans.
The Committee also coordinates and oversees development of brochures and informative handouts such as Middleton maps, the Member Directory and Community Profile, and the Middleton Profile produced by Madison Gas & Electric Company.
The Economic Development Committee meets monthly: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 12:00 p.m. Wisconsin Community Bank, 8240 Mineral Point Rd (Mineral Point & Junction Rd.)
